Jamie McLean will play his last NYC shows of the summer this week and next. Join Jamie and the boys at their new adopted home The National Underground on Tuesday June 2 and Friday June 9th. The full electric band will be rocking out at this great club. The shows are Free and the room is a lot of fun. Tuesday’s show is 9-12 and Friday’s show is 11-3am! Also, on Wednesday June 10 Jamie McLean will ring in his Birthday at the Rockwood Music Hall for a very special solo acoustic set. The Rockwood is very intimate and a lot of fun for a solo show. Jamie’s set is at 7pm so come on out and have a drink with the Birthday boy! These will be the last local shows for quite some time so we hope to see you there!
We are very excited to announce that Jamie McLean Band will return to New
York City’s Sullivan Hall next Thursday May 28th! Jamie and the boys will
be joining the New Orleans based blues, soul singer/guitarist Eric
Lindell. This show is gonna get funky and is not to be missed! McLean
and Lindell share an obvious New Orleans connection and have collaborated
in the past but this show will feature sets by both bands in a killer
night of roots-rock and soul!
Tickets are available online now and we recommend getting your tickets in advance! Simply follow the link to Sullivan Hall in the Shows section to the right!

The weather is finally getting to feel like spring which means festival season is upon us! Jamie McLean Band will hit the road this week in the southeast and will perform at their first festivals of the year. The tour starts with “an evening with” headline date at Capital Ale House in Richmond. Look for Jamie and the boys to rock the stage in Richmond before playing outside in the sun at Knoxville’s Earth Fest on Saturday April 18. From there they will join Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, Robert Walter’s 20th Congress, The Heavy Pets and more at the Sweetwater 420 Festival in Atlanta! Great beer, great tunes! April 20 finds the band in Columbia SC (home of Michael Phelps’ notorious photo) for a 420 Party! We are excited to play an After Party for one of our favorite bands, Wilco. After Wilco finishes rocking Asheville on April 21 Jamie McLean Band starts rocking Stella Blue for a Post Wilco Party. The next night finds the band in Raleigh playing a post Dave Matthews Band party with DMB guitarist Tim Reynolds! The mini tour will finish up in Baltimore for Federal Hill’s Spring Fling Festival. We hope to see everyone out in the sun for some new music this spring. See you there!
Thanks to everyone who came out to my solo show at Rockwood Music Hall. It is always fun to strip the songs down to the way they were originally written. Me and an acoustic guitar. Oh…and a big shout out goes to my Mom for making the trip into the “big city”!
So…….I’ve been in the studio for the last 2 weeks mixing the new record with producer Stewart Lerman. I know…….I’m bias….but…. lemme tell ya…….it sounds amazing! Really amazing! I can’t wait for you guys to hear it. In the meantime you can hear the new songs live and with a bit of rock and roll swagger the next few nights in New York City. Me and the full band are taking over the National Underground on Saturday April 4 and Friday April 10 to blow off a little studio steam and rock out the new music. We start at 11pm and go until late night. And….it is FREE. National Underground is always a ton of fun and it’s bound to get scandalous. Its on Houston Street (corner of Allen).
See ya there, Jamie
The tour through the Southeast was a blast. Now that I’m back in NYC I’m finishing up the new album and playing a couple local shows. This Wednesday March 25 I’ll be doing a solo acoustic set at Rockwood Music Hall. It is a really intimate room and it is a rare thing for me to be up there all by my lonesome. Just me and my acoustic. It should be a lot of fun. I’ll be dusting off a bunch of old tunes that never made it into the band sets and I”ll unveil some of the new tunes from the next album. Set starts at 9pm. Hope to see ya there. Jamie
